“ The owner and staff are great and tolerated my idiosyncracies with grace and poise. I often use my beard to hold utensils to free up my hands for other purposes. They treated this as a totally normal thing to do wich went a long way towards making me feel welcomed. Their smoothies were amazing and gave me the extra boost I needed for my trip back to South Dakota. The selection of wood carvings, art, and furniture really complimented the establishment. I love the partnerships they have with local creators of crafts and artists. I bought a potholder, supporting the work of an up and coming young artist. Higher grounds deserves much praise for their support. Thank you for all that you offer. ”
“ Been coming here for years but the prices have gotten out of control and we just can't justify stopping here anymore. For instance, this morning I ordered a medium latte and breakfast burrito. The burrito now costs about 14 and my order, for the latte, burrito and tax, was 20.79. Over twenty dollars for a coffee and burrito? It's just crazy. (The burrito used to cost 6.10, less than half what it now costs. And to be fair, the breakfast burrito is quite good, and spicy.) ”
“ Cozy atmosphere with a fireplace and quiet study room. Friendly staff. They have an amazing selection of drinks that changes with the season, but you can also get a delicious cup of coffee that is locally and recently roasted. ”
“ BIG portions of food! Very nice and clean with an atmosphere that really felt comfortable. My sandwich came with 2 full pieces of chicken and I had to remove 1 just to get my teeth around it! ”
